The aim of counselling is to provide a place of safety for you to explore and express your thoughts and feelings, where what you say remains confidential and where the length of time set aside for the session is for you to use as you need. Life will always present challenges and difficulties, and sometimes we feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. The counselling process will help you to see the future in a more positive way by facilitating a new perspective through your own resources. The counsellor is not there to judge you or to offer advice, but will help you to become more self aware and in tune with yourself.
